One of my earlier memories as a little girl is of me taking endless amounts of photos on disposable cameras. There was something so fascinating about cameras that drew me in. I’m not going to lie... the photos I took were extremely subpar. But I couldn’t keep my hands off. I would wander and photograph everything I saw, from my dogs, my backyard, blurry selfies.. The list goes on. It wasn’t until recently (my junior year of college), that I realized photography had always been a constant in my life. Even if I wasn’t aware of it as a child.

Photography has opened a can of interest in art, journalism, travel, technology, and other forms of online media. Choosing a path in media has honestly been one of the easiest decisions I have ever made and I have never looked back. Today, I am a student at the University of Georgia where I am a journalism major at the Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication and a studio art minor at the Lamar Dodd School of Art.
